“I love what Kay Loughrey is doing to help others get to a healthy weight and maintain it by getting in touch with unconscious things that they don’t even know are there.”

Kay Loughrey is a licensed dietitian, nutritionist, and healthy-eating coach with 30+ years of experience in helping people develop healthier relationships with food and lose weight. A survivor of child abuse, little Kay created a devotedly unhealthy relationship with food and used food to hide her shame and offer comfort. She overate for years, yoyo dieted for decades, and looked in the mirror and didn’t like who she say. After getting help, Kay built a healthy relationship with food- one she excitedly shares with others. She no longer overeats or yoyo diets and she now likes the woman she sees in the mirror. Kay is now successfully helping others to do the same. She works with private clients to help them build a healthy relationship with food, and in some cases, reverse diet conditions such as diabetes.

60% of American adults have a diet-related condition, such as diabetes, and 74% are overweight or obese. What we eat really does make a difference.

Kay Loughrey will introduce your audience to their “Sweet Spot” by helping them develop the tools to build a healthy relationship with food and heal the food-shame connection so they can live a fulfilling life. She is a sought-after transformational speaker for your next event. Her soon-coming book, A Happy Life at a Healthy Weight: Creating a Shame-Free, Healthy Relationship with Food and Life, will be available in 2024.
